Our Story

A neighborhood
institution since day one

The Lounge wasn't designed as a trend — it was built as a place. A place where the smell of sourdough hitting the oven is the neighborhood's morning alarm, where regulars know their usual by name, and where the grocery shelves are curated the way you'd curate your own pantry.

Located on Cottage Road in South Portland, we've spent years building relationships with local dairy farmers, regional grain millers, and independent producers who share our standard: if it doesn't make you stop and taste it again, it doesn't belong on our shelves.

Sourdough, croissants, focaccia, and seasonal pastries — all baked in-house, every morning, using traditional methods and locally milled grain.
